Light lemon color with green hues. On the nose, it is quite intense with citrus and mainly grapefruit aromas combined with aroma of fresh apricot and peach, which highlight the character of Vidiano. In the mouth, the taste is intense and complex. The taste of kernels is highlighted by the floral character of the lemon blossom and light taste of nuts. The acidity is intense and gives a fresh and cool feel to the finish. The aftertaste is long.

Food pairing: Toasted bread with cream cheese, mandarin and grapefruit sauce is a combination that highlights the fruity character of the wine. Pork with citrus sauce, mushroom soup, and lamb with ascoliber fricassee and fatty grilled fish.

Titakis Winery

With a long history in winemaking that dates to 1950s, the third generation of Titakis family remains faithful and dedicated to the fascinating process of wine making. The expert craftsmanship in wine making, the successful blending of indigenous and international varieties and the inspiring effort to create quality wines bring Titakis Winery to its new era. Titakis Winery is one of the biggest wineries in Crete. Its modern and constantly evolving facilities are in Kounavoi village near Heraklion, at the very heart of wine region of Peza and a few kilometres away from Knossos Palace. Built in 1972 with a pioneering design, it offers a perfect environment for the wine production process and α warm hospitality for the wine lovers. The privately-owned vineyardσ span approximately 10ha and it is in Messara valley at the foothills of Asterousia mountains. Indigenous Cretan (Vidiano, Moscato Spinas, Malvazia di Candia Aromatica, Kotsifali and Mandilari) and international (Merlot and Syrah) varieties are cultivated. With constant quality control throughout the crop season, with love and passion for the Cretan vineyard we handle its precious fruits and are proud to present remarkable wines.
