Merlot Boutari was created within the framework of the Boutari Company’s broad exploration on the acclimatization of the best-known varieties in the world to Greek vineyard. It is a Merlot that is quite characteristic of the variety and of the region it originates from.

Visual: Deep red with vibrant blue shades

Aroma: Simple, non-complex flavor, typical of the Merlot variety, intense freshness, characterized by the aromas of strawberry, raspberry and black cherry complemented by spices, vanilla and cinnamon flavors

Taste: In the mouth, it is quite fragrant with rich volume, light acidity and good balance

Food pairing: Red and white meats with full aromatic sauces, meat pies, chicken fillet cut into mastiha with cream. Pasta with sweet sauces and salad with prosciutto and orange. Accompanying Gouda and Kasseri cheeses.
