In an effort to literally save the Moschofilero variety from extinction and in recognition of the enormous potential of this strongly aromatic variety, Boutari created one of the most famous brand names in the market in history. The Moschofilero Boutari is now synonymous to the Moschofilero variety and has gained international recognition, as one of the most versatile wines that amazes the international cuisines.

Visual: Soft white with pale grey notes that indicate the wine’s young age and the typicity of this variety which gives this distinctive color

Aroma: Muscat type notes of great intensity and clean primary aromas such as wild roses and lemon tree blossoms. Secondaryaromassuchasthymeandgreenapple.

Taste: Light, aromatic and easy to drink. It exerts intense freshness and excellent ballance. On the finish, it leaves a long and lingering aftertaste which is soft and full of citrus type aromas.

Food pairing: Salads, seafood platters, fish such as baked red mullet, mussel risotto, oven baked lamb in oil and oregano vinaigrette, corned pork meat but also seasonal fresh fruit. Soft cheese with low fat like katiki Domokou. It is a versatile wine that can be paired with many tastes.
