Red dry wine; protected Geographical Indication Slopes of Ainos, Kefalonia.
The bottles of red Nautilus 2017, sealed with beeswax in the mouth above the capsule matured from last year, submerged under fresh water, in special tanks of the winery under controlled conditions! A new method which permits maturation and incorporation in absolute conditions of constant temperature, darkness and lack of oxygen!
From the indigenous own-rooted variety Mavrodaphne (in dry vinification).
It has a bright purple color. Sophisticated, tasty, with fine structure. Silky texture, with delicious notes of fruit, cranberries and baked plums, along with a tight intense finish. Ripe tannins and acidity that supports the fruity taste, highlights and allows flavors to remain.
It accompanies ideally meat, fine sauces and red fish, pasta, cheese and fruit.

Nautilus red 2017: Wine Advocate 2019: 91/100: “The 2017 Nautilus Red is a Mavrodaphne aged for six months in used French oak; this is sophisticated and flavorful with fine structure. Textured, silky and precise, it has nuanced fruit flavors, with cranberries and baked plums, plus a tight, tense finish. The mid-palate finesse is exceptional. The acidity supports the fruit nicely, lifts it and allows the flavors to linger”.
