Each harvest will be different (rose, white...sweet...) keeping its orininal name, its original idea, but each time inviting you to re-discover its creative, flavoured wanderings.
Apiro 2021: Enticing aromas of tropical fruit, hawthorn and crushed rocks introduce this 2021 APIRO, whose lemon tart and baking spice show deceptive length. Vibrant in mouth, lingers with fine layers of toasted hazelnut and lemon tart, full of finesse and power at the same time. This harvest encapsulates the spirit of Alexandris Family with wonderful clarity of fruit, pithy texture, underpinned by lively acidity, concluding with a delicately saline finish

Alexandris Family Winery is situated on the slopes of mount Ataviros at Embona, Rhodes. Our 14 acres vineyards are cultivated with great care, and enthusiasm that leads, our 3rd generation family, to constantly research and experiment with Greek and foreign varieties. New technological advances blend well with tradition throughout vine growing and vinification processes. For over than half century, our wine philosophy focuses on the production of high quality wine that is bound by the ecosystem of mount Ataviros and expresses the uniqueness of the natural surroundings. To achieve this, the cultivation and vinification are handled with care, by not only using knowledge and experience but also by merging tradition with technology. Our aim is to produce expressive wines from grapes cultivated exclusively in the privately owned vineyard, wines that carry all the distinct characteristics of the specific microclimate (terroir) of Embona-Rhodes, Greece.
