Wine "Menexes" is produced by the cretan local variety "Kotsifali" and the internationals "Syrah" and "Merlot" in Kipriotakis vineyards . Our experience of 30 years in grape-growing , the meticulous wine production and the 12 month maturing in oak French barrels , give us this special wine .
The wine characterized by a deep red colour with purple highlights. The scents that dominate is from dried fruits like plum and apricot with subtle notes of vanilla .
Serving temperature 16-18 degrees of Celsium . Perfect choice for grilled meats , hunting , and spicy cheeses .
Because of no-filtering , sediment might appear .

Estate Menexes is located 20 km South of the city of Heraklion and on a short distance from the Minoan settlement of Vathipetro,where the oldest winery of the Minoan Crete (4.000 years old )was found. Located in Destination of Origin of the Highest Quality zone of Archanes. It covers an area of 2.000 acres and is one of the largest estates in Crete.
