It is produced from two Greek varieties: Roditis and the Fileri of the western Peloponnese that have been cultivated in our vineyard since the late 1960s.

Each variety is vinified individually. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature, into separate tanks. It has bright yellow color with grey hues and aromas of yellow and citrus fruits. The taste is fruity, rich with refreshing acidity and a pleasant finish.

Drouvas Winery

 

From grandfather Sakis in 1960, to granddaughter Julia today, Drouva Estate, on the slopes of the hills surrounding Pyrgos of Ilia to the north, with its palm-trees, olive trees, various fruit trees, vineyards and barrels of pine, developed into a modern vineyard and winery managed by his son, Spyros and the design, standardization and distribution of wine, the principal product of the estate, was undertaken by the oenologist granddaughter. The varieties cultivated are Greek and are commonly found in the Western Peloponnese with sandy soil, Ionian air and high annual rainfall. Roditis, Fileri, Mavroudi, Agiorgitiko and Refosco, blend to complement each other and produce balanced and light wines, white, red or rosé, fresh or aged, that accompany the pleasant Greek cuisine.
