Description : The Vidiano is a native Cretan variety which was revived through the efforts of pioneering winemakers and grape growers on the island. The variety is gaining a broad reputation, as it is already being grown and vinified throughout Crete by almost all  winemakers. It is called the Cretan diva.Vidiano is a fruity & creamy wine with well balanced acidity due to the exposure of our organic vineyards to cooling winds.Ideal for wine connoisseurs looking to age their white wines in a cellar.

Vinification : The 50 % of the grapes remain for skin contact for a few hours
at cold temperatures. Then the must is fermented in tempera- ture controlled stainless steel tank
at 18°C. At the end of fer mentation the wine is left on its fine lees for a few months in order to gain structure and body.

Paterianaki Winery

Ktima Paterianaki is located just 18 km from the city of Heraklion, Crete, at the exit of the village of Melesesses Pediados, in the Municipality of N. Kazantzakis. At an altitude of six hundred and fifty meters (650 m.), A modern biological unit of traditional Cretan and foreign varieties was created, vinification, bottling and hospitality. The area is characterized as biologically sensitive, superior quality D.O.P.A.P. - V.Q.P.R.D΄΄, which meets all the rules of organic and biodynamic agriculture, ensuring the quality and uniqueness of the products produced at the Paterianaki Estate Ktima Paterianaki has been certified in organic farming by DIO, an official body for the control and certification of organic products.
